#130 Harry Potter

boydog130 B: I just head the ice cream truck! B: But muggle interaction is too risky until I finish this book... D: i'm pretty sure the ice cream man won't spoil the ending. After the Amazon delivery owl dropped off harry potter book 7, I began my reading marathon. I finished book 7 by the next next afternoon. I did this in part because I thought it would be fun to read it in under a day. But I mainly felt that I needed to do this to avoid any spoilers from mean death eater bullies. Fortunately I finished quickly, because on Monday I bumped into some spoilers on youtube written in the comments. Speaking of youtube I found into this video the other day:

For those who have finished HP 7 and thus lost their purpose in life, this video is helpful.

#129 Liar

boydog129 Boy says something. His pants catch on fire. D: Liar "Liar liar pants on fire! Hanging on a telephone wire!" This is how I learned the phrase. Though I seem to be the only one that knows the second line. Google helped me verify that I'm not completely crazy. There are a few people that use that second line. Though it was not nearly well known as I expected. I had to rework my idea to fit the "pants on fire" part.

I don't know what the boy is saying in the first frame, but I hope he learns his lesson. It is best not to be a liar. Even if it's only for fire safety reasons alone!

#128 Snap-Its

boydog128 Boy throws snap-its into air Happy Birthday America! This morning I remembered the 4th of July neighborhood parades I went to when I was little. Those were fun times. I would decorate my bike and have lots of fun zipping around with the other neighborhood kiddies. One time I taped a bag of Snap-Its onto my handle bars. I think the plan was to do some awesome trick off of a 10 foot ramp and then throw down the snapits as I flew threw the air. The trick was spectacular! I would land and the crowd would hoist me up on their shoulders cheering mmy name. No one had yet achieved such a stunt! Too bad I only performed it in my head. Please exercise proper firework safety and don't throw snapits at yourself. That would be a very silly thing to do.

#127 Concavity

boydog127 D:aww... don't be so negative D:turn that frown into a positive double derivative! A little bit of calculus is good for everyone. You can tell whether a function is concave up or down be taking its double derivative. If the result is a negative number then it is concave down (like the curve of a frowny face). If the result is a positive number then it is concave up (like a smiley face!) I hope everyone's mouths are having a concave up day!
